6" x 8" oil on canvas boardWhen I was a little girl about 8 years old my father worked driving a large truck and would often deliver at the Jacksonville shipyard. He found out that when a volkswagon bug car was delivered it came in a big wooden box and they would destroy the box after delivery. Daddy ask if he could have one and they said yes but u will have to deliver it to your house. (Not a problem since he drove an 18 wheeler) so one day he brought a big wooden box home and that weekend he added a door, windows and a roof and steps to it and painted it and mama made me curtains and daddy also made me table and chairs. I had the coolest playhouse in the neighborhood so my friend would come over on her pony and we would play for hours. Sometimes I would share with my brothers and they would make the playhouse a fort (YUK) This is what my playhouse and yard looked like so I put it to canvas.
